About the Carbide Wood range
Durable carbide-tipped teeth with variable pitch. The purchase price of carbide blades is relatively high, but the cutting edge is long-lasting and the cuts produced are exceptionally smooth and high quality.

- wood-based semi-finished products (veneers, plywood, etc.),
- cutting along and across the grain, abrasive materials (e.g. pertinax, glass-filled plastics, graphite, etc.).

Features and benefits:
- Durability. Carbide-tipped teeth provide significantly higher tool life and edge durability compared to blades with hardened teeth.
- Smooth cut. Precisely ground teeth (not set), each tooth cuts across the full width. As a result, the cut surface is smoother than with blades with set teeth.
- Variable pitch. Tooth pitch ranges from 12 to 16 mm; the advantage of this variability is reduced vibration during cutting.
- Material savings. The resulting kerf is narrow, only 1,2 mm wide. This produces less waste when cutting and saves material.
- Also suitable for medium-sized band saws. Thanks to the small thickness of 0,6 mm the blades can also be used on band saws whose wheels have a smaller diameter (at least 300 mm), without the risk of blade cracking.

Carbon Flexback band saw blades for joinery workshops, made from carbon steel, are toothed, set and hardened to 62 HRC. For hobby and professional use. Carbon Flexback carpentry band saw blades have universal use; they cut soft and hard wood along and across the grain, laminates, plywood, plastics and synthetic materials. The hardened cutting edge gives you long blade life and thanks to the perfectly executed weld the blade will not bounce in the cut and the cut surface will be straight and smooth.
RipperS PREMIUM headrig band saw blades
RipperS PREMIUM headrig band saw blades for log breakdown. Available in versions for hard or soft wood. RipperS PREMIUM headrig band saw blades with large teeth (tooth pitch 22,2 mm) are available in a carbon steel version with hardened teeth and also in a BIMETAL PREMIUM version with HSS teeth (the BIMETAL PREMIUM version is manufactured in 34 × 0,9 mm and 34 × 1,1 mm sizes). The tooth geometry is adapted either for cutting hard or for cutting soft wood. We can also manufacture the geometry exactly to suit your requirements.

Good day, for the cutting height you mentioned, I would choose the largest tooth from our offer: 2 Hook - the blade is primarily intended for cutting hardwood, but it is not a problem to cut softwood with this blade as well. Regards, Team Dudr.
Good day, thank you for your inquiry. This is just a recommended value, but the band can also cut a cutting height of 400mm. For logs, we recommend RipperS PREMIUM bands with a tooth pitch of TPI 1.1. However, these bands are manufactured from a width of 32mm.
