PARKSIDE wood bandsaw from Lidl. Which bandsaw blade should you choose?
The PARKSIDE PBS 350 wood bandsaw from Lidl takes a bandsaw blade 1400 mm long and 3 to 13 mm wide. You choose the width based on the tightest curve and the pitch based on the thickness of the wood. Below you'll find recommended blades with a link straight to the cart.
Which blade for a PARKSIDE wood bandsaw
The saw determines the length: all PBS 350 versions take a 1400 mm blade. You choose the width based on the tightest curve and the pitch based on the thickness of the wood.

The same blade fits versions A1, B2 and C3. Not sure which one? Start with 6 × 0.5 mm and a pitch of 6: it cracks less on the small wheels and cuts curves too. You'll find others below.
You'll find the version (A1, B2, C3) on the saw's rating plate or in the manual.
Blade thickness
0.5 or 0.65 mm?
The saw has small wheels, 200 mm in diameter. A thinner 0.5 mm blade bends around them more easily, so it cracks less often.
A 0.65 mm blade is stiffer. Three out of four 1400 mm blades we sell are 0.65 mm.
Is your 0.65 mm blade cracking? Switch to 0.5 mm.
The original Lidl blade has fine teeth, about 10 per inch. It only cuts well in wood up to around 10 mm thick. For thicker boards and beams you need a coarser pitch – see below.
Do you have the PARKSIDE PMB 1100 metal bandsaw? It takes a shorter 1140 mm blade. You'll find sizes and pitches for it in the article Blades for the PARKSIDE metal bandsaw.
Which width and pitch to choose
The narrower the blade, the tighter the curve it can cut. The thicker the wood, the coarser the pitch, meaning fewer teeth per inch.
Width by tightest curve
Take the widest blade that can still cut your tightest curve. A wider blade cuts straighter and lasts longer.
Pitch by wood thickness
The tightest curves in wood and plywood up to 10 mm.
Curves from 15 mm radius, wood up to about 50 mm thick.
Straight cuts and gentle curves, boards and plywood up to 25 mm.
Straight cuts in boards and small beams from 20 to 80 mm.
Tooth shape: Regular cuts cleanly, Skip doesn't clog in soft and damp wood, and Hook is more aggressive for hardwood. You'll find more sizes on your saw's page: A1 · B2 · C3.
Not sure which one to pick? Get a set of three blades with a 5% discount: Starter to try things out (6, 8 and 13 mm), Straighter for straight cuts (three wider blades) or Shaper for shapes and curves (three narrower blades). You'll find them on your saw's page: PBS 350 A1, B2, C3.

Common questions from the comments
These are the questions you ask us most often in the comments below the article.
? I have the B2 or C3 version. Does it take the same blade as the A1?
Yes. The versions differ only in a few motor parts, and they all take a 1400 mm blade.
? My old blade says 7 mm. Do you have it?
Officially, there is no 7 mm blade. Go for 6 mm for shapes, or 8 mm for straighter cuts.
? Can I fit a 13 mm wide blade on the saw?
Yes, the saw takes blades from 3 to 13 mm. We recommend a thickness of 0.5 mm: 13 × 0.5 with a pitch of 6 for a finer cut, or with a pitch of 4 for a coarser one.
? Can I cut metal on a wood bandsaw?
Not steel. A metal-cutting blade needs a speed of 60 to 90 m/min, while a wood bandsaw runs roughly ten times faster and the teeth break off. You can cut aluminum, laminates or plastics with a metal-cutting blade, though.
? The rubber on my saw wheel has cracked. Do you sell it?
No, we only make bandsaw blades. A specialist company can re-rubber the wheels for you.
? My saw is a different brand.
Look it up in blades by bandsaw model. If you can't find it there, all you need to know is the blade length, width and thickness – just enter them in the configurator.

Good day, we recommend 1400x6x0.5 TPI 4 Skip and 1400x6x0.5 TPI 6 Skip for the Parkside wood saw from Lidl.
The price is €12.71/piece incl. VAT.

Good afternoon, for the Parkside (wood saw) the blade length is 1400 mm and we recommend a blade thickness of 0.5 mm due to the small wheels, but you can also use 0.65 mm.
I would recommend a blade with a TPI of 6 - Skip (teeth per inch) saw blade 1400 x 6 x 0.5 mm for Lidl Parkside for wood.
Also popular is the narrowest blade we offer, 3 mm wide, with which you can cut a radius of no less than 3 mm.
In this article, you will find a graphical representation of how to choose the width of the saw blade selection of width according to the cut radius.
It is good to order several types and try them out.
Thank you

Good day, thank you for your inquiry. For the Parkside PBS 350 C3 bandsaw, we would recommend the Flexback 1400x6x0.65 mm saw blade if you need to cut shapes and curves. However, if you are planning more straight cuts, a wider blade would be more suitable, for example Flexback 1400x10x0.65 mm. You can then choose the pitch (TPI - teeth per inch) and tooth shape (Hook, Skip, Regular) based on whether you will be cutting soft or hard wood, as well as the cutting height of the material. For each saw blade in our e-shop, you will find details in the description for which types of wood and dimensions the blade is ideal. If you are unsure about your choice, please let us know what material you cut most often, and we will be happy to help you choose the right blade.
Best regards, the Dudr Saw team
Good day, these saws differ only in a few parts in the engine, so PBS 350 A1 and B2 use the same blades, which you can buy at the links above
Good day, generally you cannot cut iron on table band saws intended for wood due to the high belt speed. When cutting iron, the belt speed is 60-90 meters per minute (which is usually 10 times less than a band saw for wood), so that the teeth grab the chip, otherwise the tips of the teeth will break off. With a metal band, you can cut e.g. aluminum, phenolic resin, laminate, plastics, where the belt speed can be higher.
Thank you.

Good day, if you mean the belt on the band saw wheel, we don't know if there is a belt that you could simply put on, but it is solved by rubber coating. So find a company that does rubber coating. We have experience that the rubber coating of small band saw wheels is solved by, for example, the company AGT Zlín https://www.agtzlin.cz, so try to arrange it with them.
Good day, you can use the saw blade, we recommend a thickness of 0.5 mm.
