Ordering quickly and easily: QR codes
Why waste time and nerves? With smart stickers and labels with a QR code you can buy the band saw blade that suits you in no time. No lengthy searching or choosing. All you need is your mobile phone.
How the stickers and labels with QR codes work
With your first order we will send you a self-adhesive label with a QR code that you can stick wherever you need – on the band saw, on the noticeboard in the office (or even on your bedside table). This way you will always have the necessary details at hand. In addition, each band saw blade from us is individually labelled with a tag with a QR code.
The function of the QR code is the same on both the sticker and the tag – as soon as you scan the code with your phone camera, your device will automatically redirect you to the Dudrsaw e-shop and add the given product to the basket. Then you just select the quantity and complete the order 👍
Note – when you scan another QR code for a different blade, another product is added to the basket.
What is it good for
You know how it is – anything can happen. The supervisor has just gone on holiday or it has simply been too long since the last order. And suddenly you have nothing to cut with… Using the QR code you can quickly and easily order the same blade you have been using up to now, without complicated searching and checking of technical parameters.
The tags on the band saw blades also make any potential complaint easier. If you are not satisfied with the blade or the weld, the ideal procedure is to photograph the tag and the defect and send both photos to us by e-mail. This makes the complaint process easier for us, so we can deal with it the same day.
What the information on the label means
In addition to the QR code itself for ordering, the labels also contain specific details about the given type of band saw blade. The advantage is quick orientation for you and for us.
- Line 1: Product name, blade dimensions (width, thickness, length), tooth pitch. How to make sense of these parameters? Tips and advice can be found in the article here.
- Line 2: Customer name (company name) for whom the band saw blade was made.
- Line 3: Material number. From one coil of material we weld several dozen band saw blades – the coils are numbered, which helps us, for example in the event of a complaint, to identify a possible material defect or production error and remedy it.
- Line 4: Initials of the welder who welded the blade. Any complaint about the weld can serve as feedback for them.
- Line 5: Date of welding.

Good day,
if the saw band broke at the weld, we will send you a new one. Just take a picture of the broken weld and send the photo to info@simonds.cz. We usually do not re-weld such small bands because it is costly. Throw it away. If the saw band broke outside the weld, we unfortunately cannot accept the complaint. I want to discourage you from re-welding, because there are usually other "hidden" cracks, the band already has dull teeth, it can be crooked and additionally, welding shortens it by about 2 cm by trimming. It is not worth re-welding such a small band, because you will pay postage + for welding about 100 CZK.
If your bands break more often, I recommend reading the article WHY DO SAW BANDS FOR WOOD BREAK?
Pavel Dudr
Good day, if it is not too crooked (bent or stretched), it can be welded. However, we do not recommend it much, we weld it for you without warranty, it may break elsewhere soon. When the band breaks outside the weld, it is usually completely stressed. But it's up to you, you can do something about it. The price is 100 CZK excluding VAT. You can send the saw band to our address. Dudr Company s.r.o., Nádražnà 935, 763 62 Tlumačov. Thank you
